52MW TOPCon Project

JinenU Solar received a customized OEM order from a customer to produce 210-66  bifacial TOPCon high-efficiency PV modules for the customer. The power requirement of this customized module is from 695W to 700W, and the total order quantity is 52MW, and the production quantity is about 75,000 pieces.

Manufacturing Challenges & Solutions

The 210-66N bifacial TOPCon module has an overall size of 2384*1303mm. It uses 0.26mm round wire ribbon, combined with 390g EPE, 420g EVA and embossed double-coated glass to achieve a small 0.8mm pitch design, which effectively reduces cell grid shading, improves optical utilization, and thus increases the power of the module.

As the size of this version is longer than other versions, hidden cracks at the location of the center hole lead-in line, broken pieces due to the stress of welding tape vertical lamination, and hidden cracks at the back of the layer, etc., JinenU Solar's Tai'an base has conducted a comprehensive study from various angles, such as the selection of materials, design optimization and adjustment of the production process. After repeated tests and optimization, by adjusting the downward pressure of the glass merging machine, optimizing the thickness of the welder flattening and the lamination parameters, it not only improves the production efficiency and product quality, but also provides valuable experience for the subsequent production and ensures the timely delivery of the order.
