On August 20th, the signing ceremony for the Indonesian local photovoltaic supply chain cooperation was held in Jakarta, Indonesia. Representatives from PV industry chains in both China and Indonesia gathered to jointly witness the new chapter of cooperation for local content development.

Wu Fei, Chairman of Suntech Power, Rachmat Kaimuddin - Deputy for Infrastructure and Transportation Coordination of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Kemenko Marves) Republic of Indonesia, and Shinta Widjaja Kamdani - Coordinating Vice Chairwoman III for Maritime, Investment and Foreign Affairs of Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Indonesia) attended the ceremony.

On the ceremony, Mr. Wu Fei delivered a speech and shared his insights in the subsequent thematic forum. In his speech, Mr. Wu pointed out that Chinese photovoltaic enterprises have actively responded to Indonesia's significant energy demands and urgent transformation aspirations. Through an innovative fund model, they collaborate with outstanding Indonesian enterprises to jointly build the photovoltaic industry chain.

During the panel discussion, Mr. Wu further highlighted that as the economic core of ASEAN and a leader in Southeast Asia, Indonesia holds great potential in photovoltaic development due to its abundant energy resources and large population base. With economic and population growth, as well as the demand for cross-border electricity cooperation from neighboring countries such as Singapore, Indonesia's demand for renewable energy is rising sharply.

DDI (DaoDe Investment), in collaboration with Suntech Power, JinenU Solar, and several renowned Chinese material suppliers, has jointly constructed a robust cooperation alliance. The successful hosting of this signing ceremony represents a deep exploration and full utilization of Indonesia's PV market potential. It also signifies an important milestone in the deep cooperation between China and Indonesia in the field of new energy.

Meanwhile JinenU also unveiled its seventh production base and the first station of overseas layout will soon be landed in Indonesia, to meet the urgent demand for PV products in Indonesia and the global market.

In the future, the company plans to set up 6 additional production bases, including 3 more domestic production bases and 3 more overseas production bases, with the new capacity of the whole group reaching 30GW, and the total production capacity of the group exceeding 50GW.
