JinenU Solar's 7th Domestic Base To Be Located in Meishan(Sichuan Province)

On December 26th, Meishan City Investment Promotion Conference and Project Signing Ceremony was held in Shanghai International Convention Center. Secretary of Meishan Municipal Party Committee Huang He came to the scene and delivered a speech, and Deputy Secretary of Municipal Party Committee and Acting Mayor Wang Binda presided over the meeting.

At the Signing Ceremony, 40 projects with total contract value of 46.4 billion yuan were signed, of which 10 projects were signed on the stage, covering new energy and new materials, electronic information, equipment manufacturing, modern service industry and other fields. 

Shanghai JinenU New Energy (Meishan) 10GW PV Module Manufacturing Project (hereinafter referred to as “JinenU Solar Meishan Base”) was successfully signed in the event, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan, of which 1.2 billion yuan is planned for the first phase of the project 5GW, covering an area of 150 acres, and it will become the largest PV module production base in Meishan after completion. 

The successful signing of the contract marks the 7th production base of JinenU Solar in China, which will promote the local PV industry to a new height. Currently, JinenU has 8 bases (including the Indonesia Base and Meishan Base under preparation) with 20GW module production capacity. In the next 3 years, the company plans to set up 4 new production bases (2 in China and 2 overseas), with a total production capacity of over 50 GW.
